The Jupiter Children's Foundation was officially chartered in 2000 to serve the needs of the low-income community in Jupiter.

Since then, the foundation has searched for ways to assist agencies that service this sector of the population.

The Jupiter Children's Foundation's primary fundraiser has been the annual Jupiter Invitational Golf Tournament held in October. To date, the Foundation has raised nearly one million dollars.

While the Foundation has granted money to numerous qualified programs the main beneficiaries have been the Thelma B. Pittman Jupiter Pre-school and the West Jupiter Tutorial Center.

  1. The Thelma B. Pittman Jupiter Pre-school whose mission is to provide quality Early Childhood Education to children ages two to five years from economically disadvantaged families.

  2. The West Jupiter Tutorial Center which provides after-school and enrichment activities for students from low-income families as a means of providing a safe, healthy, learning environment which encourages the building of the family unit
